Recognition and Accreditations

By demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission's national standards for health care quality and safety, Pampa Regional Medical Center has earned The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval™.

Founded in 1951, The Joint Commission is dedicated to continuously improving the safety and quality of the nation's health care through voluntary accreditation.  The Joint Commission's on-site survey of Pampa Regional Medical Center occurred in May 2008.

Pampa Regional Medical Center is a 115-bed acute-care community hospital serving a population of approximately 65,000 residents in the Texas Panhandle.  Founded in 1950, Pampa Regional employs more than 275 full-time and part-time staff members. Pampa Regional is accredited by The Joint Commission.  In 2007, Pampa Regional invested over $25 million into the Texas Panhandle through taxes, discounted care, capital investment and salaries.  Recently, the Quality Program of Pampa Regional gained recognition in The Quality Improvement Report. In partnership with the excellent members of the local medical staff, the hospital provides a full range of medical services.  Pampa Regional is an affiliate hospital of Signature Hospital Corporation.
